Supervision & Safety

The supervision & safety of our students is of prime importance to all staff at Ardmay House International Summer School. The staff at Ardmay House International Summer School are all highly experienced in working with young people. Our staff are responsible for looking after students 24-hours per day and there is a member of staff on duty at all times. There is very little ‘free time’ at AHISS, students are always busy with organised activities, supervised by our members of staff.

Our excellent standards of supervision & safety have been highlighted in our recent inspection from the British Accreditation Council. Each student has their own dedicated Group Leader who gets to know them and makes sure they are happy, healthy and having a great time in Scotland. All members of staff have had Criminal Record Bureau checks carried out by Disclosure Scotland. We have a child protection policy in place and staff are given full training in child protection and welfare.

We are regularly inspected by the Adventure Activities Licensing Service (AALS). Our AALS licence number is: R1166. Further details for AALS can be checked here.
