Spotlight on Glasgow

One of Europe’s most vibrant and dynamic cities, Glasgow always takes AHISSers by surprise, and is our most popular excursion destination.

It’s not surprising that Glasgow was voted as one of the Top 10 Cities in the World by Time Out magazine, as well as being the UK’s top cultural and creative city. 

Glasgow has something for everyone. We love to visit the stunning architecture of Kelvingrove Art Galleries and Museum built in 1901, and the Riverside Museum designed by world famous architect Zaha Hadid. 

There is also world-class shopping on Glasgow’s Buchanan Street with The Apple Store, Nike, The Hard Rock Café, Zara, H&M and many more. 

Another firm favourite of AHISSers is the incredible Glasgow Science Centre, located on the banks of the river Clyde. Our summer school students love getting involved with the interactive exhibits.

People Make Glasgow is the city’s motto, and the friendly population really makes the city what it is.
