| A Letter from the Course Director | ||||||||
| Dear parents and students, I am delighted to welcome you to Ardmay House International Summer School. At Ardmay House we are truly passionate about language and culture and I firmly believe that we offer the ideal setting for students to learn English whilst making friends and having fun. We are a family-run business which aims to ensure that each student gets the most out of their stay with us. We aim for every student to have a safe, happy, active and creative experience in an environment that is caring and supportive. Our highly qualified team act as positive role models and encourage our students to be independent and successful. Students from across the globe aged from eight to sixteen years old enjoy a full programme of learning, activities and excursions in one of the most beautiful countries in the world. Set in the heart of Scotland’s first National Park, we are privileged to have a fantastic location surrounded by stunning countryside. At the same time, Ardmay House is less that one hour from the centre of Glasgow, Scotland’s most vibrant city. For some of our students, their trip to Ardmay House International Summer School may be their first residential experience away from home. For this reason, we have gone to great lengths to achieve a ‘home away from home’ feel where everyone can feel relaxed, happy and safe. In 2011 the summer school will be running from 10th July - 13th August inclusive. Students are welcome to attend the school for a minimum of one week up to the full five week duration of the summer school. Information about arrival and departure dates is available in the Prices, dates and booking section of the website. If you are interested in booking a place at the Ardmay House International Summer School, or require any further information I would be delighted to hear from you. Yours sincerely, Gail Ritchie Course Director |
