| We are ideally situated on the beautiful shore of Loch Long in the West Coast of Scotland. Despite the rural setting of the house, it is less than one hour’s drive from Glasgow, Scotland’s capital of culture. Dating from 1854 the house was originally built as a Victorian fishing lodge. Although the house has been comprehensively refurbished in recent years, it manages to retain its distinctive character. The house is located in its own private grounds, and we are lucky to have our own private beach with a seating area, looking out onto the stunning scenery of the loch and the surrounding mountains. Ardmay House is located just outside the village of Arrochar in the heart of Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park, Scotland’s first national park. It provides the perfect setting for a variety of outdoor activities including canoeing, orienteering and abseiling. An aiport transfer service is offered to/from Glasgow International Airport to Ardmay House on arrival/departure days the cost of which is included in the course fee. Glasgow International Airport: 45minutes Prestwick International Airport: 1 hour 30minutes |
